she's green plays Kilby Court on Thursday, October 29, with Witches Exist and Starling opening. The night is presented by S&S Presents.
she's green is a Minneapolis band that describes its sound as "moss music." The name fits the mood they're after: dreamy fantasy, emotional openness, and a lot of sonic depth. They've built their sound around a mix of influences that don't usually sit in the same room—they cite J.R.R. Tolkien and Hayao Miyazaki alongside shoegaze and dream-pop staples Slowdive and the Cocteau Twins. It's that combination of high-fantasy imagery and washed-out guitar textures that gives them their particular feel.
They've put out two records so far. In 2023, they released their debut EP, Wisteria, which included the viral hit "Mandy." That followed in 2025 with Chrysalis, a second EP that builds on the shimmering shoegaze and dream-pop of the first. Between the two, they've put together a decent body of work to pull from for a live set.

Behind the music is a five-piece lineup: Liam Armstrong, Zofia Smith, Raines Lucas, Kevin Seebeck, and Teddy Nordvold. Together, they describe their goal as building their own musical and visual world—one that leans into the dreamy, atmospheric side of things. With Witches Exist and Starling on the bill, the whole night stays in that same orbit.
The show starts at 7 PM at Kilby Court, 741 W Kilby Ct in Salt Lake City. Tickets are $23 in advance and $27 on the day of the show.
