All-woman rock musical that rewrites the narrative of the 1892 Borden murders, staged by the Salt Lake Acting Company.
Salt Lake Acting Company is bringing LIZZIE to their stage from April 7 through May 2, 2027. It's an all-woman rock musical that takes the 1892 Borden murders—Andrew Borden and his wife found dead in their home, with Lizzie Borden as the main suspect—and rewrites the narrative. The show works from the tagline "You know the rhyme. Now hear her side," and it's staged as part of the company's season, with a pre-show Green Room and Deck available for audiences to hang out in before the curtain goes up.
Opening night is Friday, April 9, at 7:30 PM. From there, the schedule runs Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM, with Sunday matinees at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. There are also two extra performances: Tuesday, April 20, at 7:30 PM and Saturday, May 1, at 2:00 PM. If you're bringing a group of ten or more, there's a discount of up to 20% off.
