L7 play the Urban Lounge in Salt Lake City on its The Last Hurrah Tour 2026.
L7 are playing The Urban Lounge on Saturday, November 7, as part of The Last Hurrah Tour 2026. They're the only act on the bill, and the show starts at 7 PM.
If you're coming to them late, the band emerged from Los Angeles in the late 80s with a blunt mix of punk bite and heavy, sludgy hooks. Their breakout album, Bricks Are Heavy, produced by Butch Vig, pushed that grit into radio-sized choruses. After a long pause between 2001 and 2014, they returned with the 2019 set Scatter the Rats. Their live setlists lean on "Pretend We're Dead," "Shitlist," "Andres," and "Fuel My Fire."
Beyond the music, the group co-organized Rock for Choice benefits in the 90s, and Suzi Gardner guested on Black Flag's Slip It In sessions before L7 took off. Vocally, Donita Sparks cuts through the guitars while Gardner adds a lower, steadier lane. The crowd is usually a mix of day-one punks and younger DIY fans, with chants for "Shove" or "Everglade" and a pit that self-polices.
