Kyle Hume performs his biggest hits and new material on the 'It's a Zoo Out There' tour at Soundwell.
Kyle Hume brings his It's a Zoo Out There tour to Soundwell on Thursday, October 15, with Sammy Rash opening. The show starts at 7 PM at 149 W 200 S in Salt Lake City.
If you've followed Hume's work, you'll recognize the songs he's built his following on. The set pulls from his biggest hitsβ'FINE', 'IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN', 'HAPPY', and 'People Pleaser'βso the songs you know will be there. But the tour isn't just a retrospective; he's also giving the crowd an exclusive first listen to brand new material, which means you'll hear things that aren't out yet.
There's a bit of a story behind how he got here. Hume hails from Louisville, Kentucky, where he studied computer science in college before the music took over. He's well known for turning down every label offer he received, choosing instead to share his songs directly with his fans on his own terms. That independent streak is part of why he's touring his own material rather than playing a label's playbook.
