Stand-up show by comedian Jimmy O. Yang, on his 'Has No Friends' tour, at the Eccles Theatre.
Jimmy O. Yang brings his Has No Friends tour to the Eccles Theater on Friday, February 12, 2027. It's a stand-up comedy show, and he's the only name on the bill.
If you're not familiar with him, Yang works across stand-up, acting, and writing. He made a name for himself as Jian-Yang in HBO's Emmy-winning Silicon Valley and appeared in Crazy Rich Asians. He also starred in Hulu's Interior Chinatown and is set to appear opposite Oscar Isaac in The Roman, a Las Vegas drama for Netflix executive produced by Martin Scorsese and Isaac. On the page, he wrote the bestselling memoir How to American: An Immigrant's Guide to Disappointing Your Parents.
On stage, he's just as active. Has No Friends follows his Big & Tall tour, and before that, he became the first Asian comedian to debut a comedy special in cinemas with Finally Home, which he filmed and directed at the Hong Kong Coliseum during a five-show sold-out engagement in his hometown. It premiered in theaters and now streams on Hulu. His earlier specials, Good Deal and Guess How Much?, rank among Prime Video's top-performing comedy programs.
