Iliza Shlesinger: Free Nights & Weekends Tour

Iliza Shlesinger is coming to the Eccles Theater on Friday, September 17, 2027. She'll be performing in Delta Hall, the theater's main space, which is built for live theater, dance, and concerts and is billed as having the finest acoustics in the country.

If you're not familiar with her, Shlesinger is one of the most successful female stand-up comedians in the world and the first and only woman to win NBC's Last Comic Standing. She's built a massive catalog of specials over the years—six on Netflix, including Hot Forever, Unveiled, War Paint, Freezing Hot, Confirmed Kills, and Elder Millennial. This particular stop is part of her Free Nights & Weekends Tour, which draws heavily on her life as a mother.

There's a local connection here, too: her seventh special, A Different Animal, was actually filmed at the Eccles and released globally on Amazon Prime Video in March 2025. So she's no stranger to this stage.

Beyond stand-up, she's written bestselling books and hosts the talk show Separation Anxiety. She also wrote and stars in the romantic dramedy Chasing Summer, directed by Josephine Decker, which premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. The show is at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM, and tickets start at $80.
