Two-hour Halloween painting class led by Kat McDaniel in which participants create a scene of ghostly dead trees and tombstones against a glowing sunset.
Bad Dog Arts is hosting a Haunted House Painting workshop on Friday, Oct 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. It's a two-hour class, and the whole thing is led by instructor Kat McDaniel.
Over the course of the evening, you'll paint a dramatic Halloween scene: ghostly dead trees and tombstones set against a glowing sunset. McDaniel guides the class step by step, so you don't need any previous painting experience to walk in and finish a piece. It's open to ages 16 and over, which makes it a decent option if you're looking for something to do with a teenager over the holiday weekend.
Bad Dog Arts describes its work as developing and implementing innovative programs and projects that use the creative arts to open young minds and hearts to the possibilities of life, encouraging young people to explore the depths of their creative courage. This workshop fits right into thatโa low-stakes way to spend a Friday night making something from scratch.
