Ghost Hunt with Advanced Paranormal Services

Advanced Paranormal Services are hosting a ghost hunt at the Salt Lake City Public Library Sprague Branch on Friday, October 30, 2026. The session is led by Shadow, a team from Advanced Paranormal Services, who walk participants through the tools of the trade as they search for the paranormal. It's not just a walk-through; they'll be showing you the gear they use and how it works while you're actually out looking for activity.

The setting is a big part of the draw. The Sprague Branch is a high-gabled English Tudor building that's served the Sugar House community for three generations. It opened in 1928, and back in 1935, the American Library Association named it the 'Most Beautiful Branch Library in America.' It was expanded in April 2001 to 13,058 square feet, so there's plenty of ground to cover.

Before you sign up, there are a few things to keep in mind. The organizers recommend the hunt for ages 14 and up, and they warn that the experience may be frightening for sensitive attendees. Space is limited and registration is required, so you'll want to get your name on the list early rather than waiting until the last minute. The hunt takes place at 1100 E 2131 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84106.
