Scion Cider Bar is hosting a pop-up called Fall in Love: Oysters & Candied Apple Bar on Friday, October 23, from 4 PM to 8 PM. It's a bit of a strange pairing on paper—fresh oysters and candied apples in the same room—but that's exactly the point. The evening brings together two local favorites for a single afternoon: The Oyster Guy handles the seafood, and Caramel Apple Co. sets up a caramel and candied apple bar.
On one side, you've got The Oyster Guy shucking fresh oysters, the kind of salty, briny snack that usually calls for a cold drink. On the other, Caramel Apple Co. is doing their thing with a full spread of caramel and candied apples, which leans hard into the autumn side of the season. If you're into both, you can work your way between the two throughout the afternoon. If you're only there for one, that works too—you don't have to commit to the whole spread.
