After-hours Dungeons & Dragons one-shot session run by The Legendarium, with after-hours access to the museum's Past Worlds gallery.
Dinos & Dice returns to the Natural History Museum of Utah on Tuesday, October 20, for another one-shot Dungeons & Dragons session. It's an after-hours event, so you'll be playing inside the museum when it's closed to the general public. The night is run by Game Masters from The Legendarium, the local shop known for books, legends, and roasts, and it's set up as a one-shot: a single, self-contained adventure that starts and ends in one sitting. Each table consists of one Game Master and six players, so you'll be playing with a small group rather than a huge crowd.
The whole thing is part of the museum's wider Dinos & Dice campaign, which has been running from August 18 through November 10, 2026. The museum describes the experience as bringing Night at the Museum to Dungeons & Dragons, with a quest of "Jurassic proportions" that puts you alongside prehistoric monsters. It's an adults-only event—18 and over—so the tables will be all grown-ups.

If you register, you get more than just a seat at the table. You'll have after-hours access to the Past Worlds gallery, so you can wander through the dinosaur exhibits when the museum is quiet. You also get a set of dinosaur-themed dice from The Legendarium and an exclusive "die"-nosaur dice holder, with a new design introduced for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 season. The session runs from 6 PM to 9 PM at the museum's 301 Wakara Way address in Salt Lake City.
