Live show by Body Double with Kipper Snack and Drew Kaluna at the all-ages venue Kilby Court.
Body Double plays Kilby Court on Saturday, October 24, with Kipper Snack and Drew Kaluna opening. The show is presented by S&S Presents.
Body Double is an Oakland, California band that doesn't sit still in one place. They describe their sound as ranging across glam rock, industrial, post-punk, darkwave, electronic, rock, and alternative. That's a wide spread of territory to cover in a single set, and it's exactly what they're bringing to Salt Lake City. If you're into the darker, more synthetic side of rock—the kind that leans into industrial and darkwave—this is the kind of bill that fits that mood.
Kipper Snack and Drew Kaluna open the night, so you'll have two more acts to work through before Body Double takes the stage. The whole thing is an all-ages show, which is one of the things that makes Kilby Court what it is. The venue opened in 1999 and bills itself as the city's longest-running all-ages room, so you don't have to worry about age restrictions for this one.
