Stand-up show by drag queen Bianca del Rio, marking her seventh solo tour and a celebration of thirty years of professional drag.
Bianca del Rio brings her stand-up comedy show to the Eccles Theater on Monday, February 8, 2027. The stop is part of her It Gets Bitter tour, which runs through more than 50 North American cities between February and June 2027, with UK and European dates to follow.
If you're not familiar with her, Bianca del Rio is the stage name of Roy Haylock, who won Season 6 of RuPaul's Drag Race. She's often billed as the 'Clown in a Gown,' and The New York Times once called her 'the Joan Rivers of the drag world.' That comparison gives you a good sense of the act: sharp, fast-talking, and not afraid to go after anyone in the room.
She's built a career that goes well beyond the drag circuit. In 2019, she became the first drag queen to headline and sell out both Wembley Arena and Carnegie Hall. That same year, she made her West End debut playing Hugo/Loco Chanelle in the musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie, following her roles in the cult films Hurricane Bianca (2016) and Hurricane Bianca 2: From Russia with Hate (2018). She also wrote a book, Blame It On Bianca Del Rio: The Expert on Nothing with an Opinion on Everything, published by HarperCollins in 2018, and in 2025 she made her New York stage debut in Tartuffe Off-Broadway.
