The Macks and OGRE celebrate New Year's Eve with a marathon rock night at Mississippi Studios.
The Macks are playing Mississippi Studios on Thursday, December 31, 2026, with OGRE joining them for a New Year's Eve bill. Both bands will be playing on the venue's standing-room floor, and the night is billed as a marathon celebration of friendship, champagne and abandoned resolutions, with more acts to be announced.
The Macks are a Portland rock band made up of Jacob Perris, Aidan Harrison, Sam Fulwiler, Josef Windheim and Ben Windheim. They've been playing together for over a decade, and that time shows in the record they put out last year: Bonanza, released September 25, 2025, on DevilDuck Records. They describe it as a collection of miscellaneous rock, and the sound pulls from a few different places—garage rock, psychedelic rock, rock and roll and blues-rock all find a home on the same album. It's a record that doesn't stick to one lane, and that's a good thing if you're looking for a set that can shift gears throughout the night.

With OGRE on the bill and more acts still to come, the lineup is building toward a full night of music rather than a single headliner and an opener. The Macks and OGRE will both be playing on the standing-room floor, so it's a night for staying on your feet. The whole thing runs from 9 PM to 1 AM, taking you right through the countdown and into the first few hours of 2027.
