Special Event: Joey Dardano

Joey Dardano plays Helium Comedy Club on Tuesday, October 20, at 7:30 PM. He's a Brooklyn-based comedian, actor, singer, and writer who grew up in a Cuban-Italian family in South Florida. He's spent years training at Stella Adler and The New School for Dramatic Arts, where he's studied voice under Aaron Hagan—who has worked with Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor—since he was 18.

If you haven't come across his name yet, you've likely seen his work. He's a featured cast member on VH1's Wild 'N Out and starred in Joe Picozzi's My Kind of People. He also had a major supporting role in Jonah Feingold's rom-com 31 Candles and appears in Season 2 of FX's Adults. On top of the acting, he created the digital series The Method with Joey Dardano and launched the podcast Help From a Hypocrite with Sonoro/iHeartMedia in April 2026. He also spent two years as a member of the touring cast of the live comedy extravaganza STAMPTOWN.

This is a good time to catch him in a room. He was named one of the New Faces of Comedy at the 2026 Just For Laughs Festival, and this stop in Portland is part of his touring schedule. The show is at Helium Comedy Club on Tuesday, October 20, starting at 7:30 PM.
