Stand-up comedian Christopher Titus performs his 90-minute special 'Stories I Shouldn't Tell' at Helium Comedy Club.
Christopher Titus is playing Helium Comedy Club on Sunday, October 18, at 6 PM. He's touring his ninth 90-minute special, Stories I Shouldn't Tell, which is the show he's bringing to Portland.
Titus is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and producer who's been working in the business for a long time. He's known for blending edgy stand-up with longer monologues, a format he pioneered with his one-man show Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding. That show premiered in 1998, became a 2004 Showtime special, and eventually inspired his Fox series Titus (2000-03), which earned him an Emmy nomination and a WGA Award nomination for writing.
Since then, he's taken lead roles in series like ABC's Big Shots, opposite Dylan McDermott, Michael Vartan, and Joshua Molina. He's written and starred in eight 90-minute comedy specials that spent months on the Billboard Top Ten Comedy Chart, and Stories I Shouldn't Tell is his ninth. While he's out on the road with this one, his special Amerigeddon is available on Amazon. He also hosts The Armageddon Update/Titus Podcast, which has reached 8 million downloads, and he wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the feature Special Unit.
