Summer craft fair

The Bread and Roses is hosting its monthly craft fair on Sunday 26 July, with independent local artists taking over the space at 62 Ebrington Street. It's part of the regular run the venue puts on, so if you've been before, you know the general shape of it: a good spread of handmade work from across the city, all in one room.

The range this time around covers a fair bit of ground. There's handmade jewellery and pottery—bowls, mugs, and vases—alongside cross stitch, keychains, and cards. Mixed media and photography are in the mix too, so you'll find everything from small, easy gifts to more substantial pieces. Because it's a local line-up, you're buying straight from the people who actually made the things, rather than picking something off a shelf.
