A festive family pantomime featuring Will Young as the Fairy Godfather, produced by Crossroads Pantomimes.
Cinderella opens at Theatre Royal Plymouth on 4 December 2026 and runs through to 3 January 2027, taking the Lyric for the festive season. It's the annual panto, so if you're looking for something to do with the family over Christmas, this is the one.
Will Young takes the role of the Fairy Godfather, and the rest of the cast is rounded out by Ross King as Buttons, Eve Shanu-Wilson as Cinderella, Michael O'Reilly as Prince Charming and Daniel Norford as Dandini. It's a full house of names to carry the story through.
Behind the scenes, the production is staged by Crossroads Pantomimes, the world's biggest pantomime producer. They've gone for the traditional approach: laugh-out-loud comedy, scenery, costumes and the usual boos and hisses. The costumes themselves are coming from The London Palladium, so they're not exactly off the shelf. The show runs for around two hours and welcomes audiences of all ages, which is the whole point of a panto — something the kids and the adults can sit through together.
