A monthly weekend fair featuring original artwork, handmade crafts, artisan gifts, and local food stalls in the heart of Plymouth City Centre.
Old Town Street in the city centre plays host to the Old Town Street Arts, Crafts and Food Fair this Saturday, 25 July. It's a monthly fixture that takes over the street for the weekend, and this is the next one in the calendar. If you've missed the earlier dates this year, it's a good chance to catch it.
The fair brings together original artwork and prints, handmade jewellery and textiles, ceramics, glasswork and woodcraft, and eco-friendly and upcycled crafts. Alongside those are artisan gifts and home décor, and the food side of things is just as present, with artisan hand-crafted food stalls and local produce. It's built around independent local artists, crafters and small creative businesses trading their wares to the city centre crowds, and the organisers keep stalls open to newcomers through Plymouth Art Gallery, so you'll often see fresh faces and new work coming through.
