St Luke's Hospice is bringing back the Midnight Walk on Friday 10 July, starting and ending at the Home Park stadium Fan Zone in Plymouth. It's a family-friendly night walk with four routes to choose from—2.5, 5, 7.5 or 13.5 miles—so you can pick the distance that suits you, whether you're out for a gentle stroll or looking for a proper challenge. The whole thing is run by St Luke's to shine a light on hospice care and to help secure the future of their services, both at home and at their specialist unit in Turnchapel.
This year's 5-mile route has something extra: the St Luke's Guiding Lights art trail, a series of illuminated lighthouse sculptures that will light up Plymouth's streets and waterfront for one night only, created by local and regional artists. There's also a Reflection Wall where you can leave messages of remembrance. The walk is held in memory of lost loved ones, and the money raised goes towards high-quality hospice care for people with terminal illness.

It's open to all ages, and you can do it for whatever reason fits—for fun, for fitness, or in memory of someone who's passed away. Entry is £24 for ages 11 and over, and £12 for ages 10 and under.
