A local arts, crafts and food fair held at West Pier, Barbican, supporting local businesses with stalls and activities.
The Barbican Art, Craft & Food Fair is back at West Pier Barbican this summer, and it's running across two separate weekends rather than just one. The first is Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 August, and the second follows on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September. Both weekends run from 10:00 to 16:30, so you've got a full day's window on either a Saturday or a Sunday to wander through.
It's exactly what the name says: local arts, crafts and foods all in one place. The whole point is to showcase what people are making and cooking right here in the area, and it's set up so you can browse through the stalls and support local businesses at the same time. If you're into handmade things or just fancy seeing what's being produced around the city, it's a good spot to spend a few hours.

The location is West Pier Barbican, right next to the Mayflower steps, so it's easy to find if you know your way around the Barbican. Since it's spread over two weekends, you don't have to rush to fit it all into one trip — if you can't make the August dates, the September ones are there as a second chance. Both run from 10:00 to 16:30 on the Saturday and Sunday, so you can take your time and not feel like you're racing against the clock.
