National Visit the Zoo Day

National Visit the Zoo Day comes to the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium on Sunday, December 27, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. It's a day dedicated to getting out to the zoo, and this particular one is presented by Peoples.

Coming so close to the end of the year, it's framed as a holiday-season trip—the kind of thing you do with the family when everyone is home for the break. The day is built around activities for all ages, so it works whether you're bringing kids or just hanging out with friends. The idea is to make some memories while the holiday mood is still in the air.

There's a bigger picture to the day, too. It's not just about a walk through the exhibits; it's about supporting the work of wildlife preservation in zoos everywhere. That's the core of the whole thing—celebrating the animals and the effort that goes into protecting them.

If you're planning to go, the Zoo is at 7370 Baker Street in Pittsburgh, PA 15206. It runs from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Sunday, December 27, so you've got a full day to work with.
