Men's college soccer match between New York University and Carnegie Mellon University at CMU's soccer field.
NYU takes on Carnegie Mellon on the soccer pitch this Friday, October 23, at the CMU Soccer Field in Pittsburgh. It's a straightforward college matchup: NYU's men's soccer team traveling up from New York to play Carnegie Mellon on their home turf. If you've been following either side this season, you know the drill—two college programs meeting mid-fall, with the home-field advantage sitting firmly with the Tartans.
For anyone who doesn't spend their weekends keeping tabs on college soccer, here's the basic setup: NYU is making the trip from Manhattan to Pittsburgh, so they're the visitors for this one. Carnegie Mellon hosts at their own facility, which means the local crowd will be the one filling the stands. It's a standard intercollegiate game, the kind of afternoon that usually brings together students, alumni, and anyone in the city who follows the local college sports scene.
