Candlelight tribute concert in which the Listeso String Quartet plays Dolly Parton's songs in the Omni William Penn Hotel's historic ballroom.
Candlelight is bringing a tribute to Dolly Parton to the Omni William Penn Hotel on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The Listeso String Quartet handles the music, taking Parton's songbook and running it through a string arrangement under the glow of candlelight. It's a fan-led tribute, not affiliated with Parton, her estate, or her official representatives.
The venue is a piece of Pittsburgh history. The hotel's ballroom opened in 1916 as a Renaissance Revival masterpiece by Benno Janssen and Franklin Abbott, with Beaux-Arts and Art Deco details and room for 1,200 people. It's a big, old room that's seen a lot of the city's history pass through its doors, and that's where the quartet will be playing.
