Candlelight concert in which Listso String Quartet plays Coldplay and Imagine Dragons songs in the glow of LED candles at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.
Coldplay and Imagine Dragons are coming to Trinity Episcopal Cathedral on Friday, November 6, in a Candlelight concert presented by fever!. The whole thing is performed by the Listso String Quartet, who'll be playing under the glow of thousands of LED candles. It's a string quartet taking on pop rock, so the songs you know from the radio are stripped back and rearranged for four bows.
The program is split between the two bands. From Coldplay, the quartet is slated to play "Clocks," "Adventure of a Lifetime," "Fix You," "The Scientist," "feelslikeimfallinginlove," "Sky Full of Stars," "Viva la Vida," and "My Universe." From Imagine Dragons, they'll cover "Radioactive," "Eyes Closed," "Nice to Meet You," "Follow You," "Bad Liar," and "Believer." It's a tentative list, so the set might shift a bit, but it covers a good stretch of both catalogs.
Trinity Episcopal Cathedral is a Gothic Revival cathedral in Pittsburgh's Northwest District, consecrated in its current form in 1906. It's the seat of the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon, and inside you'll find soaring timber arches, luminous stained glass, and the renowned Rosales pipe organ. The concert runs about an hour, and it's recommended for audiences aged 8 and over, with under-16s needing an adult.
