Family Halloween trick-or-treat at the Children's Museum of Phoenix with monster tunes, costume fun and treats, with free admission plus the museum fee.
Trick-or-Treat at the Museum runs at the Children's Museum of Phoenix on October 30 and 31, from 9 AM to 4 PM both days. It's part of the museum's Halloween offerings, and the museum describes it as a spook-tacular time for visitors of all ages to trick-or-treat, dance to monster tunes and explore three floors of interactive exhibits. Since it spans two days, you can pick whichever one fits your schedule better.
Costumes are optional but strongly encouraged, so it's a good excuse to get the kids dressed up. Treats are available while supplies last, and the museum asks that you bring your own trick-or-treat bag or basket. There are a couple of house rules to keep in mind: leave prop weapons and complete face-covering masks at home.
Beyond the trick-or-treating, you'll have access to the museum's three floors of interactive exhibits, so it's as much a full day at the museum as it is a Halloween event. The monster tunes provide a bit of a soundtrack to the whole thing.
