Holiday carols brought to life through dance by Derek Hough and a cast of professional dancers at the Orpheum Theatre.
Derek Hough brings his Dance For The Holidays show to the Orpheum Theatre on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. It's a family-friendly production that takes holiday carols and puts them into dance, performed with a cast of professional dancers. The choreography is co-created by NappyTabs — the stage name for Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo — and produced by Greg Young of Mojave Ghost.
If you're not familiar with the name, Hough is a heavy hitter in the dance world. He's the most nominated male choreographer in Emmy Awards history, with four wins and 13 nominations. He's also a six-time champion of Dancing with the Stars, the only person to ever win that many mirror ball trophies on the show. He started dancing at 11 in his hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah, and later moved to London with his sister Julianne, who has joined him on sold-out tours.
Beyond the dance floor, he's a New York Times bestselling author, with Taking the Lead: Lessons from a Life in Motion coming out a few years back. He completed his first nationwide solo tour in 2019 and has worked across a few different stages: Radio City Music Hall's Spring Spectacular, Footloose in London's West End, NBC's Hairspray Live!, and Disney's High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
