A hands-on Halloween activity where children design, mix and take home their own slime as part of the Trick-or-Treat at the Museum series.
Spooky Slime is coming to the Children's Museum of Phoenix on October 31, from 10 AM to 12 PM. It's a Halloween spin on one of the museum's most popular programs, and the whole thing is hands-on: kids get to design, mix, and take home their own batch of slime.
If you've been to the museum before, you know the slime station is usually a hit, and this version just leans into the season. The activity is part of the museum's Trick-or-Treat at the Museum series, which spreads across all three floors. That means the slime is only one part of the morning. The series adds a Halloween dance party, a Fashion Fright Show, and photo opportunities to the mix, so you can easily spend a few hours working your way through the building.
It's the kind of thing that works well if you're already planning a Halloween morning with the kids. They can start with the slime, then drift over to the dance party and the fashion show, and maybe snag a few photos along the way. Since it's all under one roof, you don't have to coordinate multiple stops across town.

Logistically, it's straightforward: the activity is free with paid museum admission, which is $19 per person. Museum members and children under age 1 get in free. The museum is at 215 N. 7th Street in Phoenix, and the session runs from 10 AM to 12 PM on Halloween morning.
