Tommy Fleece plays Valley Bar on Sunday, November 8, with special guest Reserv Belgium Tree. Fleece is a 23-year-old Detroit artist who describes his sound as "all positivity, all being a Chad," and he makes music for both the cool kids and the normal kids, blending casual soundtracks and party anthems with a sensitive and mischievous spirit.
He grew up on indie sleaze, the punk rock his father showed him, and the improv genius of jazz. He cut his teeth in the underground, where he earned a reputation as a tweaked-out synth wizard, and he says he's ready to seize the electroclash crown. The show is 16+.
