Live show by the Atlanta pop-punk band The Paradox at The Rebel Lounge.
The Paradox play The Rebel Lounge on Monday, October 19, at 8 PM. If you haven't come across them yet, it's because they've only been around for about two years. They formed in Atlanta in the summer of 2024 as four young African American musicians redefining the look and sound of pop-punk, and their rise has been unusually fast. Within three weeks of posting their first content online, they had more than 130,000 followers. Less than a year and a half later, that number grew to 2.1 million across all platforms, and they'd landed a Billboard Alternative Airplay number one.
That momentum has put them on tour with some of rock's biggest names, and the co-signs they've picked up read like a who's who of rock royalty and cultural tastemakers. Billie Joe Armstrong personally invited them to open a Green Day stadium show, and Travis Barker jumped on their single 'Bender'. Joel Madden, Jack White, Kid Cudi, SZA, and LeBron James have all publicly championed the band. They're described as a cultural movement, not just the hottest band in punk.
