The Smashing Pumpkins bring their Rats In A Cage Tour to Mortgage Matchup Center on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. It's one of their Phoenix dates on a run that stretches from September through November, and the band is billing it as one of their most ambitious live shows yet.
The night is split into two distinct sets. The first is a celebration of the 30th anniversary of Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, the 1995 double album that went RIAA Diamond. If you've spent years with that record, this is the part of the night that'll feel most familiar. The second set is a career-spanning journey through nearly four decades of their hits, deep cuts, and fan favorites, so you'll hear material from well beyond that one era.
Between the two, the show covers a lot of ground. One half is dedicated to a single, massive album from the middle of their career; the other pulls from the early days and the years that followed. It's a long night of music, and the two sets run back-to-back.

The Smashing Pumpkins are a GRAMMY Award winner, and Mellon Collie is the record that defined much of their 1990s output. The tour's name, Rats In A Cage, takes its cue from one of the album's most recognizable tracks.
