Café Allegro at the Musical Instrument Museum is taking pre-orders for Thanksgiving pies and cookies this year, so you can check the dessert course off your list well before the holiday. The deadline to get your order in is Friday, November 20, by 11:59 PM, and you'll pick everything up at the museum between November 23 and 25.
There are three pies to choose from. The pumpkin pie comes with maple whipped cream for $27, the pecan pie with whipped cream is $32, and the apple pie with spiced streusel is $29. If you're looking for something to put out on a platter rather than slice, they've got two cookie options: a dozen assorted cookies for $25, or a dozen gluten-free oatmeal raisin cookies for $30. You can mix and match across the board, so you can grab a pie for the table and a couple of dozen cookies for the family to snack on throughout the day.
