Pumpkin Painting

Pumpkin Painting is happening at the Phoenix Center for the Arts on Tuesday, October 20, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's a free event, so you can drop in without worrying about a ticket or a cover charge. The whole thing is described as a night of light-hearted spooky crafting, which pretty much tells you what to expect: pumpkins, paint, and a low-pressure way to get into the Halloween spirit.

If you've never been, the Phoenix Center for the Arts is at 1202 N 3rd St in Phoenix. It's a community art space, so the setting fits the activity. The two-hour window gives you plenty of time to work on your pumpkin without feeling rushed, and since it's a free event, it's an easy one to bring a friend along for. You don't need to be an artist to join in—the whole point is the crafting itself, not the finished masterpiece.

It's a Tuesday night, which is a good time for something like this if you're looking for a mid-week break. You'll have two hours to paint, and when you're done, you get to take your pumpkin home. The event runs from 6 PM to 8 PM at 1202 N 3rd St, and it's free.
