A young girl journeys into a hidden forest to rescue her younger brother in this darkly magical adventure, screened at Vue Cinema Oxford.
Wildwood opens at Vue Cinema Oxford on Friday 23 October, and it's staying on for a good while. It's a sweeping, darkly magical adventure about a young girl who journeys into a hidden forest to rescue her younger brother, and it's billed as a family-friendly trip into a world that's a bit on the eerie side.
Vue is an out-of-town multiplex inside the Ozone Leisure Park on Grenoble Road, near Kassam Stadium. It's a big one, with 12 screens and more than 1,380 seats, so there's plenty of choice if you're not heading in on opening day. They show in 2D and 3D with 4K picture quality and Dolby Surround Sound, and every screen has stadium seating and an IR hearing system. It's also a venue for Big Screen Events like concerts, sport, dance, opera and theatre, so it does more than just the usual cinema run.
Parking is free for up to four hours, though you'll need to re-validate after that. The cinema also runs Mighty Mornings, Big Shorts and 2-for-1 tickets with Meerkat Movies, and they have autism-friendly and accessible screenings if those make a difference to how you'll want to see it.
