Screening of the psychological thriller 'Verity', adapted from Colleen Hoover's novel and directed by Michael Showalter, at Vue Oxford.
Verity is screening at Vue Cinema in Oxford, running from 2 October to 22 October 2026. It's a psychological thriller adapted from Colleen Hoover's best-selling novel, and it runs for 1 hour 57 minutes. The story follows renowned author Verity Crawford and Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who moves to the remote Crawford estate to ghostwrite for her. When Lowen uncovers what appear to be Verity's chilling autobiographical notes, she wrestles with disturbing confessions about Verity's husband, Jeremy, and finds it hard to separate fiction from reality.
Behind the camera is director Michael Showalter, and the cast is a big one: Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett take the lead, with Ismael Cruz Cordóva and Brady Wagner also in the mix. It's certified 15, so it's not for the younger ones.
The cinema is the Vue Oxford, inside the Ozone Leisure Park on Grenoble Road. It's a nine-screen site with more than 1,380 seats, and they show films in 4K with Dolby Surround Sound.
