Stand-up comedy night headlined by Ali Woods to raise money for the redevelopment of St Mary and St John Church.
Ali Woods headlines a comedy night at St Mary and St John Church on Saturday 24 October, from 7.00 to 9.00pm. The night is put on by Mates Rates Comedy, and the money it raises goes to the redevelopment of the church.
It's a straightforward setup: a full evening of stand-up with Woods taking the top spot. The whole thing is being staged at the church to help fund its redevelopment, so your ticket goes toward the building itself rather than just the performers on the night.
The venue is St Mary and St John Church, at 271 Cowley Road, on the corner of Cowley Road and Leopold Street in Oxford OX4 2AJ. It's a well-known spot on the Cowley stretch, easy enough to find if you know the area. The night runs from 7.00 to 9.00pm, so you're in and out in a couple of hours.
