Screenings of Aardman's animated Halloween adventure 'Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom' at The Ultimate Picture Palace, part of the cinema's 'Family Classics' season.
Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom is coming to The Ultimate Picture Palace on Cowley Road, with two screenings on either side of the weekend: Friday 30 October at 3:45pm and Sunday 1 November at 3:00pm.
It's a family adventure set at Mossy Bottom Farm, where the flock is getting ready for Halloween. Things go sideways when the clumsy Farmer trashes their pumpkin patch, and Shaun's science experiments take a turn for the worse just as a wild beast appears in the woods. It's 80 minutes long and rated U, so it's one you can take the whole family along to.
Behind the scenes, it's directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, with Justin Fletcher, John Sparkes, Nina Sosanya, Kate Harbour and Richard Webber. The film arrives as Aardman celebrates its 50th birthday, and critics have pointed to the studio's signature hand-crafted style — that tactile, clay-animation look they're known for. At the UPP, these screenings are part of the cinema's 'Family Classics' season.
