Weekly over-18s stand-up night with four comedians at The Glee Club on Cowley Road.
Saturday Night Comedy is back at The Glee Club on Saturday 24 October, part of the club's regular run of live comedy nights. The Glee Club describes it as an award-winning night that keeps the audience laughing until Monday, and the format is the same every week: four stand-up comedians from the national and international circuit sharing one bill.
For the 24 October show, the line-up is Jason Patterson, Elaine Fellows, Raj Poojara, and a fourth comic still to be announced. If you can't make that one, there are more dates coming up throughout the autumn: Jimmy McGhie, Ryan Mold, Jessie Nixon and Carey Marx on 7 November; Maria Shehata, Barry Dodds, Millie Malone and a comic to be announced on 14 November; and Ross Smith, Paul F Taylor, Lou Conran and another comic to be announced on 21 November.
It's strictly over-18s, and the seating is unallocated, so you'll just find a spot when you arrive. There's no food served, which keeps the focus on the stage. The club warns that Saturdays sell out quickly, so it's worth booking ahead rather than leaving it to the night.
