Screening of the animated adaptation of Julia Donaldson's tale for Toddler Time, a session for preschool children and their parents.
Room on the Broom screens at Phoenix Picturehouse on Thursday 22nd October at 11.30am. It's a 27-minute animated adaptation of the children's book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, and it's part of Toddler Time, a session held exclusively for preschool children and their parents or carers.
The story is a simple one: a kind witch invites a surprising collection of animals to join her on her broom, much to the frustration of her loyal cat. The gang eventually saves the witch from a fearsome dragon, and in gratitude she rewards them all with a magnificent new broom that has room for everyone. It's a gentle, friendly tale that fits the morning slot.
