Screening of the documentary 'Naza', shot on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, at the historic Phoenix Picturehouse in Oxford.
Naza is showing at Phoenix Picturehouse in Oxford, a film by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. It's shot at night on the rooftops of Tel Aviv, and it sets out to reveal the systems behind Israel's calculated mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.
Abraham and Szor are two of the four co-directors of the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land, and they come to this from different backgrounds: one is a filmmaker and investigative journalist, the other a filmmaker and cinematographer. They describe making the film out of a sense of obligation to examine those systems, and much of what they found was published almost immediately by The Guardian — one of the film's producers — in collaboration with +972 Magazine and Local Call following the October 7th attacks. It's been called one of 2026's most vital film releases.
