Screening of the animated film about expelled student Mia and her pet rat Quentin at Rotwood Academy, a school for monsters.
Monster Mia is screening at Vue Cinema in Oxford, with the first showing on Friday 23 October at 10:15am. It's an animated feature that runs 82 minutes, so it's a fairly quick watch that doesn't drag on.
The story follows Mia, a student who's been expelled and ends up at Rotwood Academy. She doesn't arrive alone, though — she's got her pet rat, Quentin, with her. Once she settles in, she discovers she's the only human among her monster classmates, which is where the bulk of the film's comedy comes from. It's a fish-out-of-water setup, with Mia trying to find her feet in a school where everyone else is something out of a storybook.
