Over-18s club night where JukeBox returns with decades of dance music across the generations for a Halloween special.
JukeBox is back at O2 Academy Oxford on Tuesday 27 October for a Halloween Special. It's a club night that pulls music from across the decades, so you'll hear tracks from different eras running through the same set rather than one specific style. The Halloween theme adds a spooky twist to the usual mix, and the whole thing is built around a dancefloor for singing along and losing yourself in the tunes.
If you've never been to the venue, O2 Academy Oxford is an Edwardian building on Cowley Road. It started life as a Cooperative party hall and was known as The Venue and then the Zodiac before opening as a music venue in September 2007, with New Young Pony Club, The Magic Numbers and Young Knives. Since then it's hosted the likes of Ed Sheeran, Foals, Stereophonics, Ozzy Osbourne, Babyshambles, Hozier and Royal Blood.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you head down. The night is strictly over-18s only, so you'll need a student ID to get in, and anyone under 25 will need ID to buy alcohol. Doors open at 23:00, and there's a 2am curfew, so it's a late one that runs well into the early hours. Tickets are £11.50, with handling fees added on top.
