Screening of the biographical period drama about writer Thomas Mann and his daughter Erika on a road trip through post-war Germany.
Fatherland screens at Phoenix Picturehouse on Monday 19 October at 5.30pm. It's a biographical period drama that follows writer Thomas Mann and his daughter Erika on a road trip through post-war Germany, so it's a family story set against a country picking up the pieces after the war.
If you're not already familiar with the venue, Phoenix Picturehouse is one of Oxford's older cinemas, a century-old spot with two screens and a friendly upstairs bar. The bar stocks a wide range of wines, spirits and bottled beers, alongside popcorn, hot and cold drinks and snacks, so it's an easy place to settle in before the film starts. Accessibility facilities are available on site.
