A month of dance, creativity and family fun with Dancin' Oxford, including free early years sessions and workshops across several Oxford venues.
Dancin' Oxford is running its Autumn Family Dance Festival across the city from Friday 25 September to Saturday 31 October, a month of dance, creativity and family fun. The festival is spread across several venues, with a mix of free sessions for the smallest children and ticketed workshops and performances for older audiences. The core of it is an inclusive early years dance programme for babies and children that asks for no prior experience and encourages everyone to play, connect and grow together.
The programme opens with a Dance for Parkinson's performance workshop with MuMo on Sunday 18 October. On Wednesday 21 October, there's a free early years arts project at Donnington Doorstep Family Centre in Townsend Square, followed by the Rose Hill Intergenerational Project on Thursday 22 October. Sunday 25 October brings Grow! by Highly Sprung at Pegasus Theatre on Magdalen Road, and Monday 26 October is a Family Dance Party at the Museum of Oxford in the Town Hall on St Aldates. The festival closes on Saturday 31 October with Alice in Wonderland at The Mill Arts Centre in Spiceball Park, Banbury.
