Screening of 'Cambridge Connections', the short film strand of the Cambridge Film Festival, at Picturehouses.
Cambridge Connections is showing at Picturehouses in Oxford starting Thursday 29 October, as part of the cinema's ongoing film programme. It's a screening of the Cambridge Connections film, which brings together a collection of short films from across Cambridgeshire.
To get the context, Cambridge Connections is the strand of the Cambridge Film Festival dedicated to the best local filmmaking. It programmes a diverse range of shorts by filmmakers from across the county, and the whole thing is presented by the Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity that works to widen access to cinema and support emerging talent through film, education and community programmes. So, rather than one single feature, you're seeing a curated selection of work from different voices within the region, all under one roof.
