Spooky variety cabaret with comedy, song, dance and drag from Oxford duo Watson & Malone, hosted by Justine Malone as Malone Wolf.
Nathan Peter Grassi and Justine Malone are back at the Old Fire Station on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October with BOO! My Cabaret, a Halloween-themed spin on their variety night. It's a comedy, song, dance and drag cabaret, with Malone hosting as Malone Wolf and Grassi playing the cast's Crypt Keeper.
If the names ring a bell, it's because they're the duo behind Be My Cabaret, which has become a regular fixture at the Old Fire Station. They describe this as an experimental variety show that pulls from the best of local Oxford talent, and it's built a loyal following of repeat bookers along the way. The Daily Info called it "a deeply sweet, textured, big-hearted night out."
Both hosts bring a fair bit of their own work to the table. Justine Malone is known for Watson & Malone and I'll Be Back; Nathan Peter Grassi comes from Nathan & Ida, The Dead Secrets and Victoriocity. The night is part of the Made In Oxfordshire series at the venue, so it's very much a local production.
