Miro Remo's Czech film about two ageing brothers living as hermits in a farmhouse, narrated by a slaughtered bull, in Czech with English subtitles.
Better Go Mad in the Wild is showing at The Ultimate Picture Palace on Saturday 17 October at 15:30, and again on Tuesday 20 October at 20:45. It's an award-winning film from Miro Remo, and it's shown in Czech with English subtitles.
The story follows two ageing brothers living as hermits in a crumbling farmhouse close to the Czech-German border. They spend their days arguing, making up, and singing ballads to chickens. The whole thing is narrated by a slaughtered bull, and it's described as a funny, tender portrait of seclusion and brotherhood. It runs for 84 minutes.
