Annual festival of sound art and experimental music across three nights at The Nest on Little Clarendon Street, with pay-what-you-can entry.
Audiograft returns to The Nest this October for its annual festival of experimental music and sound art. It's a short, concentrated programme spread over three nights, with the main sessions running on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October from 7pm to 10pm. The whole thing is co-promoted by OCM, and it's become a regular fixture in Oxford's experimental scene.
If you've been around the city's noise and sound art circles for a while, you'll know the format: a few evenings of sound art and experimental music concentrated into a single venue rather than scattered across the city. It's a good way to catch several different acts in one go without having to trek all over town. The festival runs from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 October, with the main sessions on Friday and Saturday.
One of the best things about it is the entry. Every evening is open on a pay-what-you-can basis, so you can chip in what you're able to rather than being held to a fixed ticket price. It keeps the nights accessible, which is a big part of why it's stuck around as an annual event.
