Arnie & Barney is playing at Vue Cinema in Oxford, with screenings running from Friday 30 October through to Wednesday 4 November. It's a PG-rated family film, so it's one you can take the younger ones to without worrying about the age rating.
The story follows two ants with a knack for getting into — and out of — trouble, and the whole thing runs for 77 minutes. It's short enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome, which is a plus when you're sitting with kids who might start getting fidgety halfway through. If you've got a morning or an afternoon free, it's an easy one to slot in.
There are four screenings to choose from, and they're spread across the next week, so you don't have to rush. The first is on Friday 30 October at 9.45am, followed by Saturday 31 October at 9.00am. If the weekend doesn't work, there's a Sunday 1 November showing at 11.25am, and then a later one on Wednesday 4 November at 10.30pm for those who prefer a night out. Between the early morning starts and the late-night slot, there's a time that fits most schedules.
