M6 Theatre's fairytale show with singing, puppetry and physical comedy about a stranger who finds the magical Story Collector's door in the woods.
All the Small Things comes to The North Wall Arts Centre on Saturday 24 October, with two performances that day at 11am and 2pm. It's a new show from M6 Theatre, and they describe it as their own spin on fairytales, built around the company's trademark design and heartwarming storytelling. It's a family production, recommended for ages four and over, and runs for an hour.
The story follows a stranger lost in a blizzard who stumbles upon the Story Collector's door, a magical place deep in the woods where drawers, cabinets and cupboards brim with baddies, goodies, hopes and wishes. Through new beginnings and better endings, the stranger discovers how to appreciate all the small things along the way. It's a fairytale in the broadest sense, and the production brings it to life with singing, puppetry and physical comedy, so it's as much for the younger ones as it is for the adults.

If you're taking the kids, there are two slots to choose from: the 11am is a good shout for the morning crowd, and the 2pm works if you'd rather have a slow start to the day. Tickets are £12 for adults and £8 for children, with under-twos free. The North Wall is on South Parade in Summertown, OX2 7JN, so it's easy enough to get to from across the city.
