Stand-up comedy show by BBC New Comedy Award winner Yuriko Kotani, presented by NCF Comedy.
Yuriko Kotani is playing Canalhouse on Sunday 8 November, as part of the Nottingham Comedy Festival. It's a one-hour work in progress, so you're seeing new material as it's being built rather than a polished, finished show.
Kotani is a UK-based Japanese comedian and a BBC New Comedy Award winner. She's built her profile on screen as much as on stage, with appearances on Mandy (BBC2), The Horne Section TV Show (C4), Russell Howard's Stand Up Central, Pointless Celebrities (BBC1), Pls Like (BBC3), Paul Hollywood Eats Japan (C4), Sorry, I Didn't Know (ITV) and Comedy Central Live. The show is presented by NCF Comedy.
Critics have described her as a magician with stories, with one calling the show phenomenally feel-good and another an uplifting story. It's recommended for ages 12 and over.
